Pageants

I hesitate to even let this be a public post, but I really need to let this out.

I just saw something on TV about these pageants parents put their little girls in (and now little boys apparently). I feel like I'm going to vomit. Fake eyelashes, fake tans, fake teeth? And wrapping them in plastic wrap to hold their little baby fat in? What exactly are these little girls learning? Not to say all those girls will end up warped or something, but it just bugs me.

I think I need some recovery time.

seriously though, i saw something on oprah too, about the "girls gone wild" thing and how fellow girls are their pimps. also those dancing girls on hip hop music videos. disturbing.

That's disgusting. I'm already upset at the clothes I see in department stores for little girls and woman. It's like nobody can wear anything modest anymore. -sigh-
