acresofhopeMy birthday on Tuesday was ok. Just went out to eat with the fam. Just got done with a wonderful book by Max Lucado, A Love Worth Giving. Don't have lots of time to go into anything, but it was amazing.
My sis is leaving for Illinois tomorrow. Well, leaving Spartanburg to be on her way there. She's in the Navy now. In a way, I'm glad I didn't join up, but in a way, I wish I had gotten on with it and left with her. Anyway, after basic training, she'll be going to Pensacola, which is great. I get to go visit her, go to the beach and possibly (finally) meet a good friend, all in one trip.
Speaking of which, happy early birthday to Ladd! I probably won't be able to post later, so might as well tell you now.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to tomorrow night. I'm really getting attached to my little 6th grade girls! I don't even feel like a Bible teacher. I feel more like their friend. Oh...but they think I'm old, lol. Twenty-two is old to them! HAHA!
