I wrote this poem...I think it was very early on Sunday morning. Inspired by a poetry contest about rain, Shane & Shane's song Barren Land, not to mention the Psalms ^_^

Sacred Rain

Your love,
Oh Lord,
restores me;
It rejuvenates me
as a gentle downpour.
It washes away my impurities;
it cleanse me of stain.

Your love rains upon me
and floods my heart and soul.
You produce in me a glorious garden;
joy and peace blossom all around me.

Oh Lord,
I pray Your rain would fall
over the nations;
let all the earth
know of Your great love.

I enjoyed your poem. It's very similar to a lot of the psalms.
I especially liked the part about the Lord's rain falling over
all of the nations and letting the entire earth know His Love.

I just joined the gothic Christian community you mod,
and I'm very impressed that it has closed membership.

Frankly, i'm sick of open membership communities that get trolled to death.

Yeah, I mod three communities, and only christianbook has escaped the trolls. I can't stand that, and even though I hate to exclude people, but it has to be done.
