strangevisitor7 has won some kind of award for the longest comment thread not related to religion on my LJ. Coolness! (Oh, by the way, got that DVD. Thinking over possibilities now.)
Last night I was looking for my iPod and couldn't find it. Looked everywhere I would usually put it, and even some places I wouldn't (like around the toilet). Nothing. So I ask Dean-ish!bro (my new nickname for the horndog sleeping on the couch) if he's seen it. Nope, hasn't seen it. Dad called not long after to tell me about the eclipse (which was really smokin' cool, by the way), and asked him if he'd seen it. He said the last place he saw it was the desk, which is where I pretty much keep it. He suggested I call my mom, because since her boyfriend's computer crapped out on them, she's been coming over here to check e-mail. First thing I thought was either the guy's kid took it, or sensitive!bro "borrowed it". So I called. Nope, they didn't know either. So there I was, staring up at the almost-eclipsed moon, wondering what I was going to do, when 6.3 seconds later (okay, I wasn't counting), my mom called back. Turns out, Sam-ish!bro (my new nickname for 2nd-born!bro, mainly because he's the second brother and more moral) "borrowed it". Not that I mind the borrowing, just that he didn't ask first. Now he'll never borrow even if he asks. Ha!
