Dec. 25th, 2006 10:41 amCharlie Brown is my hero. Christmas makes him depressed. Me too.
Honestly, sometimes I think I hate this time of year, and it's not just about the paganistic roots of most Christmas traditions. It's the arguing. There's so might fussing and fighting right now. I would rather not celebrate Christmas just for that reason. I'm tired of hearing how somebody got more spent on them than someone else or that the tree doesn't have enough lights. I mean, I got some nice things I wasn't expecting, like a new TV with DVD player, and some great hair care products from some guy my mom works with...but I'd rather just do without all the whining and complaining and my mom buying me clothes based on what she likes. My mom is in her forties, not to mention she doesn't know my taste in clothes. And if she does, she doesn't like it.
Meh. Almost time to get ready. More family stuff.
