My Beautiful One

You opened my eyes to Your wonders anew

Because nothing on earth is as beautiful as You

Tonight I finished reading Breaking Free. I don't know how to describe how I feel right now, except to say I feel the presence of God. It's sweeter than the best waffles drenched in the sweetest syrup on the planet (for those who don't understand about the waffles...don't ask). I've never cried so much from reading a book! But I wasn't just reading a book; I was listening to God, what God was saying to me through the words of Beth Moore. It's almost like I can here Him singing over me right now. It says He does in Scripture, the reference I can't recall, but I intend on memorizing it. I don't know what else to say.

Tomorrow I leave for a weekend retreat. I will be staff, but as glamorous as that sounds, it's not. I'll be doing the grunt work. But don't think I'm complaining! I'm looking forward to it! I know that my work will enable many others to forget about that stuff and focus on teaching the kids and adults on the trip. I can't wait!
